YHWH is near to all who call upon Him, To all
who call upon Him in Truth (Psalms 145:18).
How do we call upon Him "in Truth"?
When we keep His everlasting Torah; His Laws and precepts (Psalm 119:142).
YHWH does the desire of those who fear Him; And He hears their cry and saves them (Psalms 145:19).
YHWH hears the prayers of His righteous ones; those who give reverence to the Almighty El! But woe to the ones who do evil!
Mishlĕ (Proverbs) 28:9 TS2009
[9] He who turns away his ear from hearing the Torah, Even his prayer is an abomination.
We can rest assured that our Heavenly Father hears our prayers when we are lovingly-committed to Him by walking in His Commandments.
When we fail to obey, we end up growing distant from YHWH. And that, in turn, makes us even more reluctant to pray.
But no matter how distant we might feel from YHWH, He is always close by. When we fall, we repent and get back up and start over. He is merciful to forgive us.
YHWH hasn't changed, moved, disappeared, or lost interest in His people. So close the gap. Take a simple step toward YHWH and talk to Him. He wants an intimate relationship with each one of us. The more we do this, the more comfortable we'll become communicating with Him. And the more we pray, the more guidance we'll receive and opportunity we'll have to ask for His help for ourselves and on behalf of others.
So be encouraged! YHWH knows your prayer request before you even ask and no matter what your situation, YHWH Elohim is always ready to listen and He will answer in His perfect timing.
Tas`loniqim Aleph (1 Thessalonians) 5:16-18 TS2009
[16] Rejoice always,
[17] pray without ceasing,
[18] in all circumstances give thanks, for this is the desire of Elohim in Messiah יהושע for you.
