Are You Ready?

Are you ready for your Bridegroom?

Matthew 25:13 "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

Many who profess to know the Messiah truly do not know Him nor His Father. These are people who sit in the same pews, use the same religious language, and outwardly appear to be followers of Messiah Yahshua. They have obtained, what some may call, a "superficial faith." But they will be taken by surprise and will wake up at His return to find the door shut.

Matthew 25:7 - Recall the parable of the ten virgins where the five foolish virgins did not have enough oil. The Bridegroom is Yahshua Messiah and the ten virgins represent professing believers of the assembly—those who claim to be waiting for the Second Coming of the Messiah.

The five wise virgins cannot share their oil with the foolish virgins. Why? It's not that they aren't generous. It's because each true believer has a personal character of faith, obedience, and good works that cannot be borrowed or transferred from another person.

The oil is the Ruach Hakodesh/Holy Spirit of YAH in which His truth lies within the hearts of His people. They possess internal, saving faith (symbolized by the extra oil). They are genuinely transformed by the Ruach Hakodesh/Holy Spirit and are spiritually prepared for the return of their Messiah.

Every person must have their own oil. Every person must have their own genuine relationship with the Heavenly Father, our Creator, with a belief upon Messiah Yahshua. Just as oil fuels a lamp to keep it burning, His Ruach Hakodesh/Holy Spirit fills and sustains a believer's faith, allowing them to shine as a light in a dark world.

Now, the downfall of this parable described in Matthew 25 is that the foolish virgins show up AFTER the bridegroom has arrived. The foolish virgins knock on the door and ask to be let in but the Bridegroom says, "Verily I say unto you, I know you not" (Matthew 25:12).

As previously stated, the oil represents the Ruach Hakodesh/Holy Spirit of YAH living within us; wherewith, we receive grace through faith, walking as Messiah did. You may have a lamp, or a form of religion, but do you truly know Yahshua Messiah? Do you know that He lives in you and that you live in Him (John 14:20)? The Bible tells us that if we truly know Him, we will keep His commandments (1 John 2:4).

My dear brothers and sisters, will you be ready for your Bridegroom? Having only an outward appearance of faith will not suffice to enter the Kingdom. You must possess an inner transforming power of the Ruach Hakodesh/Holy Spirit.

May each of us prepare and be more conscious of gathering oil in our vessels. Then we will be counted worthy to escape the things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of man (Luke 21:36).

~Shalom.

The Great Harvest

The Great Harvest

[The workers are few:]
“And יהושע went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their congregations, and proclaiming the Good News of the reign, and healing every disease and every bodily weakness among the people.

[Sheep without a Shepherd:]
And having seen the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, as sheep having no shepherd.

[A Call to Action:]
Then He said to His taught ones, “The harvest truly is great, but the workers are few. Pray then that the Master of the harvest would send out workers to His harvest.”
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 9:35-38 TS2009

We must be willing to “work” for the Kingdom and to help others, not just “do” good when it is convenient for us.

“Yeshua tells them, “My food is to do the will of the One who sent Me and to accomplish His work. Don’t you say, ‘Four more months, and then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields! They are white and ready for harvest. “The reaper receives a reward and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that the sower and reaper may rejoice together. For the saying is true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’ I sent you to reap what you haven’t worked for. Others have worked hard, and you have joined in their work.””
John 4:34-38 TLV

We rejoice together, both the sower and the reaper, whether we have put forth our efforts into labouring the fields whole-heartedly or we have just joined in the work to reap the fruit, we will be rewarded and our works are not in vain.

”“For just as the farmer sows many seeds in the ground and plants a multitude of seedlings and yet not all that have been sown will come up in due season and not all that were planted will take root, so also those who have been sown in the world will not all be saved.”“
‭‭2 Esdras‬ ‭8‬:‭41‬ ‭NRSVUE‬‬

Not all who hear the Word will listen nor stay grounded in the faith. Some will depart, listening to deceiving spirits, and fall away.

"So let us not grow weary in doing what is good, because in due season we will reap if we do not give up.

So then, while we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, but especially to those who belong to the household of the faith."
Galatians 6:9-10

By “doing good” is also being “righteous,” that is, walking in obedience to the Word of YHWH and acting in a right and caring manner toward other people, especially our brothers and sisters. This fulfills the Commandments by loving YHWH and loving people.

May we continue to persevere letting our requests be known unto YHWH, through Messiah Yahshua, that He may help us endure until the very end to the gathering of the Great Harvest (Matthew 13:30). HalleluYAH!

Forfeiting the Commandments

For those who believe that following the Commandments no longer applies to them because “Jesus” paid it all, therefore, they no longer need to obey them; where in the Bible does it say that His Torah/Law has been abolished?

It doesn’t.

Yeshua/Jesus said: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I have not come to abolish, but to fulfill (to teach fully or to magnify).” Matthew 5:17.

Many sincere folks in mixed-up religion are being misled by their church pastors to trust the misconception that their observance to the Torah, or Law of YHWH, will cut them off from our Messiah Yeshua/Jesus. But Faith brings us salvation and the Torah/Law brings us blessings – Deuteronomy 28.

That being said, you can't have one without the other.

Galatians 2:16 “Know that a person is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Yeshua Messiah, even we have believed in Yeshua Messiah, that we might be justified by faith in Messiah and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.”

The Galatians were making the error by believing the false gospel that, to be saved by the works of the Law-circumcision was forfeiting (lose or be deprived of) the salvation offered to us by His grace at the stake/cross.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Messiah Yeshua unto good works (as defined by the Torah), which Elohim prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

Justification comes by favor (grace) through belief in Yeshua ALONE…but it’s UNTO good works, or obedience to the Scriptures.

We, in the body of Messiah, should be bearing good fruit, being an example to others.

Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men so that they see your GOOD WORKS (obedience to the Torah) and praise your Father who is in the heavens.”

Our obedience brings glory to our Heavenly Father.

Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are those DOING His commands (the Torah) so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the city. But outside are the dogs and those who enchant with drugs and those who whore, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and all who love and do falsehood (those who disobey the Torah).

Having been given full authority, our Messiah brought meaning to the Torah/Law and magnified it. He showed us what it means to love and that is by being obedient to His commands and having faith in Him.

In the end, don't be caught off guard at His judgment and hear the words, "Depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness."

Calamity on Our Enemies

Calamity on Our Enemies

"Touch not His anointed nor cause them any harm, lest calamity fall upon his own head (Psalm 7:16)."

YHWH will avenge your enemies. When your enemies rise up against you, YHWH will repay. When your enemies curse you, they will be cursed. Your enemies are also His enemies. The people of YHWH are the apple of His eye.

“So then, have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?”
Galatians 4:16 WEBUS

In Psalm 64: The writer (King David) speaks of wicked people who plot in secret and use "sharp words" like arrows. The passage shifts to show that while the wicked take aim, YHWH turns the tables and strikes them down swiftly.

Let's look at some passages of how YHWH deals with our enemies:

“He would allow no one to oppress them; he reproved kings for their sakes, saying, Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
1 Chronicles 16:21-22 JUB

““And I shall bless those who bless you, and curse him who curses you. And in you all the clans of the earth shall be blessed.””
Berĕshith (Genesis) 12:3 TS2009

““And the Sovereign shall answer and say to them, ‘Truly, I say to you, in so far as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.’”
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 25:40 TS2009

““Then they also shall answer Him, saying, ‘Master, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not serve You?’ Then He shall answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, in so far as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ ”
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into everlasting life.”
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 25:44-46 TS2009

“Zayin The wrong plots against the righteous, And gnashes his teeth at him. יהוה laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming.”
Tehillim (Psalms) 37:12-13 TS2009

“It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.””
Deuteronomy 32:35 NIV

“Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.”
Psalms 27:3 NKJV

‘Come, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.’ ”
“For thus said יהוה of hosts (for the sake of esteem He sent me to the nations which plunder you): “For he who touches you touches the apple of My eye.
Zechariah 2:7-8 WEBUS

“Rejoice, you nations, with his people, for He will avenge the blood of His servants. He will take vengeance on His adversaries, and will make atonement for His land and for YAHWEH’S people.”
DEU 32:43 YW

“If a man doesn’t repent, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent and strung his bow. He has also prepared for himself the instruments of death. He makes ready his flaming arrows.”
Psalms 7:12-13 WEBUS

Yoḥanan Aleph (1 John) 4:4 TS2009
You are of Elohim, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

“For God [YHWH], the Faithful One, is not unfair. How can He forget the beautiful work you have done for Him? He remembers the love you demonstrate as you continually serve His beloved ones for the glory of His Name. ”
Hebrews 6:10 TPT

Brothers and Sisters, let us remember to pray for our enemies and to love and serve one another in humility. May YHWH bless you and keep you forever.

“I will give thanks to Yahweh according to His righteousness, and will sing praise to the Name of Yahweh Most High.” 🙌🏼
Psalms 7:17 WEBUS

You Know Them by Their Fruit

You Know Them by Their Fruit

Mattithyahu (Matthew) 7:16-20 TS2009
[16] “By their fruits you shall know them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
[17] “So every good tree yields good fruit, but a rotten tree yields wicked fruit.
[18] “A good tree is unable to yield wicked fruit, and a rotten tree to yield good fruit.
[19] “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
[20] “So then, by their fruits you shall know them – "

Has not authority been given to the brethren to judge righteously? Does this take the place of the Eternal Elohim, Who is the Ultimate Judge of all? Will you look the other way and let a brother or sister's house burn down?

According to Scripture, we are to judge righteously (John 7:24), not hypocritically (Matthew 7:1-5).

There is a difference between judging a person's fruit, whether good or bad, and placing condemnation on that individual. We, in the body of Messiah, do not have that authority but only YHWH Elohim. We are required, though, to warn the brethren when one is putting forth unrighteous deeds.

Ezekiel 3:18 "When I tell the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way to save his life, that same wicked man will die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand."

Now, let me ask you; do you believe judging someone's fruit is not your place? Do you believe it means the person judging is being narcissistic and prideful? Or perhaps it is because giving or receiving correction is offensive to you?

When we do not speak up in love to warn a brother or a sister who is in sin, we are not truly loving them but allowing the enemy to continue deceiving them. By remaining silent, YHWH will require their blood be on our hands then will we also be found guilty in His eyes because saying or doing nothing does not show love for another.

Luke 15:10 "In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of Elohim over one sinner who repents.”

So when we see a tree that yields good fruit, we know this one is of Elohim, but a tree that yields rotten fruit is of the wicked one.

No one who is born of Elohim will continue to sin but the one who willfully defies the Master is like a tree yielding rotten fruit; this one will be cut down and burned.
