The Apostate

THE APOSTATE

An apostasy is an intentional falling away or defection. Those who draw near to YHWH who hear and understand what it means to follow Him but then reject His truth, which they have been gifted, to then turn away are called, “apostates.”

“For in the case of those once having been enlightened and having tasted of the heavenly gift and having become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and having tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and having fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.” Hebrews‬ 6:4-6 LSB

Did you catch that? “It is impossible to renew them again to repentance.”

Once you come to the knowledge of the truth, which is a gift from YHWH, and you fall away and go back to your old, sinful life then there is no coming back. You forfeit His covenant and His wrath is upon you.

“For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.

Anyone who has set aside the Law of Moses dies without mercy by the mouth of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded as defiled the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews‬ 10:26-31 LSB

Willful sinning of such a person does not sin because of ignorance but is one who has established a way of thinking or acting in which he has no desire to give up. A true apostate will continue to sin, deliberately and willingly. It is those who have received knowledge but lack true faith.

Judas Iscariot is a perfect example who had exposure to the love and grace of YHWH and yet, he not only turned away but was pursuant in the plot to kill Messiah.

In the end, the consequences for apostates will be severe, in which a fierce fire will consume them.

“¶I hate those who are double-minded, But I love Your law.” Psalms 119:113 [Double-minded: division of heart and mind.]

In order to stay on the narrow path, we need to be steadfast and stable-minded and not sway from YHWH’s Laws and Commandments. We cannot have one foot in the world and another with YHWH. He wants all of your heart.

“You have rejected all those who stray from Your statutes, For their deceitfulness is a lie.” Psalms‬ 119:118 LSB

YHWH will not accept anyone to enter His presence that is not willing to walk in holiness and follow His commandments. You cannot outsmart YHWH. He sees everything. He knows all. He said even your prayers are an abomination (Proverbs 28:9).

Having turned his back on the truth, with full knowledge, choosing to commit lawlessness rather than righteousness, the apostate is then beyond salvation because he has rejected the One true sacrifice for sins; our Master Yahshua Messiah. If Messiah’s sacrifice is rejected then all hope of salvation is gone. Only sin is left, the penalty for which is eternal condemnation.

If our ultimate goal is to be like Messiah and see Him when He returns, our daily pursuit must be toward complete purity of thought and lifestyle.

Paul told Timothy, “Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.”
2 Timothy 2:21 ESV.

Of the future, glorious New Jerusalem, the Apostle John said, “Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” (Revelation 21:27)

If you are someone who claims to be a believer and follower of Messiah Yahshua but have fallen away from the truth and are not keeping the Commandments of YHWH then you may very well be an apostate proving that you never had genuine faith to begin with (1 John 2:19).

“Pursue peace with all, and pursue apartness without which no one shall see the Master. See to it that no one falls short of the favour of Elohim, that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, by which many become defiled, lest there be anyone who whores, or profane one, like ฤšsaw, who for a single meal sold his birthright.

For you know that afterward, when he wished to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it with tears.” Hebrews 12:14-17 TS2009

The true apostate will continue to willfully sin and John tells us that, “No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” 1 John 3:9

Brothers and sisters, let us not only be hearers of His Word but also doers of His Word, persevering and standing firm until the very end and so be saved.

~Shalom.

Power of the Dog [Dream 6-24-26]

POWER OF THE DOG ๐Ÿ•

[Dream 6/24/26]

As I was getting dressed in my bathroom, a clip of my dream I had the night before came back to me. It was when I was tying my pants tie-string that I remembered a short-haired dog, possibly a Pit Bull, had suddenly turned against me and started viscously attacking me, pulling on my pants tie-string.

This reminds me of Psalms 22:16, a prophecy of King David regarding the Messiah Yahshua, where it says, "Dogs are all around me, a pack of villains [enemies] closes in on me like a lion at my hands and feet." [This symbolizes Yahshua’s hands and feet being pierced.]

Verses 19-20 describes a pleading to YHWH to rescue him from the "power of the dog."

Tehillim (Psalms) 22:19-20 TS2009
[19] But You, O ื™ื”ื•ื”, do not be far off; O My Strength, hasten to help Me!
[20] Deliver My life from the sword, My only life from the power of the dog.

“My only life.” The Hebrew text reads, “Deliver my soul from the sword, my only one from the power of the dog.” Scholars correctly assert that “my only one” refers to the only life that David (and prophetically Yahshua) had, so most English versions have “life” instead of “one” for clarity. However, the text makes a strong point. People only have one life, and if it is gone, the person comes to an end and is gone. That is why YHWH must rescue people from the power of the grave.

Yahshua asked, “For what does it profit a person to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?” (Mark 8:36). Indeed, if a person dies, they have nothing at all.

Matt. 7:6 “Do not give what is holy to dogs or throw your pearls in front of pigs, otherwise they will trample them under their feet, turn around, and tear you to pieces.

"Dogs…pigs.” Here in Matthew 7:6, “dogs” and “pigs” represent, by the figure of speech, those things that are most unclean and vile to the Jew. Although in some contexts, “dogs” represent Gentiles, that is not the case here, for even Yahshua gave pearls of wisdom to Gentiles (the Samaritan woman in John 4.)

The reference is to those who are unclean and ungodly in their thoughts and lifestyle. Those who reject the pearls of love and blessings that are given to them will not only reject what was said to them, but often use what was said to them against the one who spoke to them. The verse is a lesson in that we have to use wisdom in what we say to whom.

Proverbs 1:7 says, “The fear of YHWH is the beginning of knowledge, but fools show contempt for wisdom and sound teaching.”

Not everyone will receive the Truth. Not everyone will choose Life. But YHWH hears the prayers of His righteous ones. He rescues them from the deep muddy waters.

Tehillim (Psalms) 69:14 TS2009
[14] Rescue me out of the mire, And let me not sink. Let me be rescued from those who hate me, And out of the deep waters.

You righteous ones! Cry out to YHWH! May YHWH be a shield around His people, their glory, and may He lift up their heads. The victory belongs to YHWH!

Be blessed,
Amein.

Long Life Dream [June 25, 2026 at 12:55 a.m.]

"It's better to live a long life than to die in corruption." [Received 6/25/26 at 12:55 a.m.]

The Bible emphasizes that long life is often seen as a blessing from YHWH, associated with obedience to His commandments and honoring one's parents. Scriptures like Exodus 20:12 and Proverbs 3:1-2 highlight that living according to YHWH'S principles can lead to a longer, more fulfilling life.

Shemoth (Exodus) 20:12 TS2009
[12] “Respect your father and your mother, so that your days are prolonged upon the soil which ื™ื”ื•ื” your Elohim is giving you.

Mishlฤ• (Proverbs) 3:1-2 TS2009
[1] My son, do not forget my Torah, And let your heart watch over my commands; [2] For length of days and long life And peace they add to you.

Eph`siyim (Ephesians) 6:2-3 TS2009
[2] “Respect your father and mother,” which is the first command with promise, [3] in order that it might be well with you, and you might live long on the earth.”

Tehillim (Psalms) 91:16 TS2009
[16] With long life I satisfy him, And show him My deliverance.

Conditions for Long Life:
1. Obedience to YHWH'S Commandments; following YHWH'S laws is often associated with receiving the blessing of long life.
2. Honoring Parents: Respecting and honoring one's parents is highlighted as a key factor in living a longer life.
3. Living Righteously: The Bible suggests that a righteous life, characterized by wisdom and reverence for YHWH, contributes to longevity.

Quality of Life:
The Bible also emphasizes that long life should be fulfilling and enriched. It is not just about the number of years but also about living a life that brings glory to YHWH. For instance, Proverbs 3:16 states that wisdom brings both length of days and peace, indicating that a fulfilling life is intertwined with spiritual and moral integrity.

In summary, the significance of a long life in the Bible is deeply connected to living in accordance with YHWH'S will, honoring family, and embracing a righteous lifestyle.

But for those who continue in rebellion and walk according to the dictates of their own heart, these will perish in their corruption. Seek YHWH with all your heart while He may be found and He is near.

Shalom.

"Cruciferous" Dream [June 27, 2026]

"Cruciferous" [Received June 27, 2026]

In this dream, I was putting up some typed Bible-Gospel literature that was on printer paper on poster board on the wall in a specific arrangement with one centered poster board placed high above the rest that were on each side of the centered poster board, sort of like a cross-shape. On another wall were more poster boards with a different topic possibly put up by someone else.

Then the word, "cruciferous" kept popping up; either "cruciferous vegetables" or "cruciferous --" but the word alone "cruciferous" popped up repeatedly. End of dream.

I didn't understand why this word came up but I know of a brother in Messiah who had mentioned his wife having been "supernaturally healed" after almost dying a couple of times; she is now cooking and walking around. Prayers answered! Praise YAH! So I thought maybe that had something to do with it.

So I looked up the word, "cruciferous" and a page appeared with pictures of cruciferous vegetables. I was like, "Does YAH really want me to eat vegetables?" Mind you, I love vegetables, but the emphasis was on these type of "cruciferous" vegetables. I mean, it would be for the benefit of my health and well-being, right? Because sometime after having this dream, I had a relapse in my health which landed me back in the hospital.

These vegetables not only have anti-cancer properties but are also known for their distinct cross-shaped flowers of this particular plant family. Although, I do believe I had heard of this before and thought it was quite interesting. Also, the word, "cruciferous" alone means, "bearing a cross!" How amazing is that?!

Honestly, I had gotten rid of all my graven images because I strongly adhere and strive to guard and keep YHWH's Commandments and this really hit hard. This dream didn't come from my own imagination though. I believe it was given as a reference, pointing to the intertwining of a physical and spiritual connection, which emphasizes the importance of addressing both aspects in our lives in order to achieve a more nurturing and fulfilling life with Almighty YHWH.

Like the words of Yahshua who said, "If anyone wants to follow after Me, let him deny himself, take up his stake [cross] and follow Me." (Matthew 16:24)

We are to follow His example by committing to faith and service to YHWH. This is a daily routine.

A) Self-Denial - Giving up personal desires for the sake of helping others; giving of our time.
(This reminds me of Isaiah 58 which describes the kind of fast that is pleasing to YAH.)

B) Sacrifice - Sacrifice of our time; enduring suffering and hardships (I see 11:11 as I read this part) in our spiritual journey.

C) Commitment to our faith in YHWH. "Bearing the cross" is a deep commitment to truly following the Messiah and embodying His Torah teachings.

Brothers and sisters, these descriptions are sacrifices we should all be striving to do in our spiritual journey. This is truly walking on the narrow path. We need to stay focused and remain faithful as we continue to persevere, enduring until the end. HalleluYAH!
